San Diego got a little taste of what Fall should feel like today and it was quite enjoyable! Cloudy sky, fall leaves on the ground, a peppermint hot chocolate to-go… yay we’re finally talking about Fall and one of it’s fashion must-haves is the sweater dress. I found my dress at a thrift store (of course) for $5 along with the patent clutch. But not to worry, almost every store can provide you with a loose fit sweater dress for a gloomy day. Prices range from $15-$40 depending on the brand and quality of the dress.
If you’re not too into the sweater dress trend, I do recommend getting at least one with the loose fit style. You can add a belt to compliment your figure or wear it just as is for a more relaxed fit. Add a scarf, layer it with a jacket, add tights, pair it with over-the knee socks/boots or sneak a collared shirt under a round neck sweater dress for a preppy look! Such a simple dress with literally five ways to wear that one piece. So next time you look into your closet and find nothing to wear, reach in for that sweater dress and create!
