Glitter booties are one of this Fall’s daring trends! And lucky for me, I had these babies stored away for when they made a fashion comeback. They’re back! Definitely a look that is more on the preppy/girly side, but mixing it with other styles like grunge, boho or contemporary can make an outfit pretty unique! Here comes a fashion trick- I used my suede rope choker as a bolo tie (or shoestring necktie) to compliment the blouse.
I mixed a formal top like this pin striped button-up with some distressed denim for a more relaxed look. I added brown accessories to keep the color scheme to a minimum and kept my outfit in the blue hue range to allow the shoes to pop a little more! Although these shoes are fun, they are also quite exaggerating. The shoes alone speak for themselves, so try sticking to a monochromatic get-up to avoid looking too busy. Caution: Keep outfit simple when adding a glitter bootie to
your ensemble. (There’s a fine line
between looking edgy and looking like
a Christmas tree.)
