Don't chop your hair! Improvise. Don't you hate when you cut your hair and then a day later you're regretting your decision? Or when you cut your bangs and then regret it because now you can't part your hair in the middle, comb your bangs behind your ear? Well here's a little hair trick for all of you who love a change, and better yet, a change that isn't permanent!
It's bangs with a bun, high half-ponytails are such a trend this year. Messy buns or any hairstyle that looks effortless is the "it" hairstyle. So here's a little how-to on the temporary bangs hairstyle!
You start by parting your hair as if your going to do a half ponytail. In order for this hairstyle to look natural, the half ponytail needs to be high enough to make the bangs look real.
As you tie your ponytail with a band, don't follow through and leave a small bun in between the band and the rest of your hair.
You should now have a little bun on top and the rest of your hair in front of your face. Start shuffling your fake bangs and adjust them making your bangs look layered. Use bobby pins to secure the style close to the little bun that should be on top of your head. Use scissors to cut the tips in order to give the hairstyle more credibility. I took the little bun on top of my head and distressed it, once it was a messy bun on top, I grabbed it and made it smaller by tying another hair tie around it. How cool is that? Keep your long bangs and try this hairstyle when you're feeling a change!
